Andrea Leishman-Barb, DO is at Board Certified OB/GYN and a deeply passionate advocate for women’s well-being. Annie grew up in Kansas and attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for undergraduate. She received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. She is committed to education and collaboration with her patients in all aspects of their health and phases of life. Her scope of practice includes general gynecology, all gynecologic surgeries specializing in minimally invasive options, treatment of perimenopause and menopause, and obstetric care at all levels. Recently she became a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner. She has experience in pelvic floor dysfunction and its relation to all aspects of gynecology and fully supports referral to pelvic floor physical therapy. Her expertise includes treatment of endometriosis, abnormal bleeding, contraception options, hormone replacement and hypoactive sexual desire disorder. She also encourages and assists her patients in self awareness and offers holistic options of treatment.
Personal Life
Annie’s home life is filled with family time, often cheering on the soccer sideline for her daughters and traveling with her husband. She enjoys exercising and uses the heck out of her Peloton. Recently she has found a passion for yoga. Nature documentaries are her secret hobby. She loves reading and fills her cup by being in nature.
