Linda M. Collins, M.D.
Physician
Dr. Linda Collins, M.D. is an established and highly skilled physician with over 29 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology. She earned a BS in molecular biology at The University of Nebraska at Kearney in 1992, followed by her Medical Doctor from The University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1996. Her residency in OB/GYN was completed at Banner-University Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ in 2000. Since completion of her residency, she has been a partner in private practice at Omaha OB/Gyn Associates in Omaha, NE. She practices at Methodist, CHI Lakeside, and CHI Bergan Hospitals.

She is board certified and a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is a member of the NMA, Metro Omaha Medical Society (currently serving as vice-chair of MOMS Women in Medicine). She is a Menopause Society certified practitioner. She has been on the Planned Parenthood Advocates of Nebraska board since 2023. She received the “Outstanding Volunteer Faculty of the Year” award in 2001 and 2010 from the Clarkson Family Medicine Residency program. She served as the CHI Lakeside OB/GYN chairperson from 2012 to 2014.
Dr. Collins is a strong proponent of public schools and the University of Nebraska system. She has served on the Gold Torch Society (a female mentoring program at UNK), is a member of Women Investing in Nebraska, and remains an active alumna of her sorority, Alpha Omicron Pi. Her three adult daughters attended UNK and UNL.
Personal Life
In her spare time, she enjoys running, cycling, swimming, hiking, yoga, pilates, orangetheory, and skiing. She is currently attempting to run a half marathon in all 50 states. She is a brand ambassador for Another Mother Runner. She and her husband of 32 years enjoy traveling together. She is an avid reader and participates in three book clubs.
